These 8mm Crimp Top Closures feature convenient pre-assembled caps and septa. They provide a secure leak-resistant seal and minimize contamination from handling. 8mm Crimp Top closures feature 4mm openings and are available with a variety of septa materials with and without liners to match your chromatography needs. Choose from Thermo Scientific™, Thermo Scientific™ National™, and Thermo Scientific™ Chromacol™ brands.

Use Thermo Scientific™ SureSTART™ 13 mm Screw Caps with screw vials that have a 13 mm opening, including our SureSTART 4 mL Glass Screw Top Headspace Vials (Level 2). Select Level 2 products for high-throughput applications, when robustness and reproducibility are key. Choose from polypropylene and polyurethane caps with all-purpose silicone/PTFE septa or PE foam/PTFE septa designed to reduce autosampler needle issues. A pre-slit septa option is available for those who want septa that prevent vial-overfilling issues and re-seal well enough to avoid sample evaporation.

Use Thermo Scientific™ SureSTART™ 11 mm Crimp Caps with crimp vials that have an 11 mm opening, including our SureSTART 2 mL Glass Crimp Vials (Level 1). Select Level 1 caps for chromatography approved, cost optimized products that are suitable for everyday analyses and compatible with all instrument types. Choose from aluminum caps with silicone/PTFE or rubber/TEF septa of various hardness values designed to reduce autosampler needle issues. Select Level 3 products for ultimate performance and sensitivity from your methods, while maintaining the highest levels of sample security and integrity. Choose from magnetic steel caps with all-purpose silicone/PTFE septa designed to reduce autosampler needle issues. Select High Temperature septa to allow for heating to over 250°C without excessive septum softening or the release of volatile vapors.
