Matrix™ Open-Top Tri-coded Tubes

Securely store and track samples in Thermo Scientific™ Matrix™ Open-Top Tri-coded tubes. Tubes feature permanent, high contrast 2D barcodes on the bottom, plus 1D linear barcodes with human readable text on the side. Tubes are available in bulk packs or in barcoded latch racks. Barcoded latch racks feature a linear barcode, 2D barcode, and human readable rack identification on three sides of the rack. Use in combination with Thermo Scientific™ Matrix™ SepraSeal and DurSeal capping systems and the Thermo Scientific™ VisionMate™family of barcode readers.

These sterile reservoirs offer an extra-wide base to add rigidity and stability, helping to avoid spills. The 25mL divided reservoir allows the pipetting of two different reagents with up to eight channels on one side, and up to four on the other; maximizing recovery if using only a single channel and a small amount of reagent.

Securely store precious samples at low temperatures, including vapor phase Liquid Nitrogen with Thermo Scientific™ Matrix™ 500µl and 1.0mL ScrewTop Tubes. Tubes are molded from medical grade resins and feature a permanent, high contrast 2D,1D linear and human readable barcode. These tubes can be ordered to come in racks (barcoded or non-barcoded) or may be purchased in bulk. The tri-coded tubes can be purchased sterile or non-sterile. We also offer tubes with white patch only if your work does not require the 1D linear and human readable code. The 2D screwtop tubes meet a range of manual and automated long term storage needs; barcoded racks make it easy to track the rack as well. Use in combination with Thermo Scientific barcode readers, arrayers and capping equipment.
