Deoxy-bigCHAP is used for membrane solubilization. It is easily removed by dialysis and its absorption at UV region is very low. N,N-Bis[3-(D-gluconamido)propyl]deoxycholamide is used for membrane solubilization and proteomic analysis. N,N-Bis[3-(D-gluconamido)propyl]deoxycholamide (deoxy-BigCHAP) is a non-ionic detergent that solubilizes cell membrane.
